New Hanover School

Wrightstown, NJ

The on-going projects at New Hanover School are testimony to the advantages for the Client of a long-term Architect-of-Record relationship. By working on a strategic basis, the Board’s long-term facility goals can be reached through the process of incremental improvements, as funding becomes available.

RYEBREAD Architect’s first project in the District was a new 9200 SF classroom addition, as well as limited metal roofing & HVAC upgrades. The new spaces were wrapped around the existing gymnasium, improving circulation and creating an option for future expansion.

Later improvements included metal roofing, and mold remediation. Upcoming projects include alterations to the Instructional Media Center and District Offices, a security management system, and replacement of the entire HVAC system.

The New Hanover School District realizes that a capital improvements project is not an expense, but an investment. Like education itself, it is an endowment for future generations.
